I just wanted to share this experience that I had today. I was at this book store in Borivali West called "Shabd Book Gallery". Earlier that day I had called up at this shop asking for a book called "Akashashi Jadale Nate" written by Mr. Jayant Narlikar. He is one of my idols. There was this lady buying some books in the same shop. She was talking to the shop owner, when she glanced at the books that I was purchasing. She just looked up at me and said - "I feel proud that still youngsters like you read such books". It felt really nice to hear that. I replied to her saying, "Actually I have already read this book, I'm buying this book because I'm donating this book to an school". On this she started me asking where I'm donating this book. I told her that I'm going to visit Dr. Praksh Amte at HemalKasa. He runs schools and hospitals free of cost for all the under privileged tribal community in that region. The lady was overwhelmed, she asked me to buy some more books on her behalf. Then she just opened her purse and handed over 1002 Rs. and asked me to donate this to Dr. Prakash Amte. She said "because of you I got a chance to donate for such a good cause which Dr. Prakash Amte is running". I was bit suprised and overwhelmed by this whole experience.

Now lets go into a little flashback of this entire story. My dear friend Avinash and his wife Dr. Maithili were reading some book written on Dr. Prakash Amte and some books written by Dr. Prakash Amte. They were overwheled by these books and wanted to meet him personally, therefore they decided to meet him during Christmas vacation. Avinash asked me if I would like to come along. I agreed straight away. Then I though why not gain some more knowledge about this great person we are going to meet personally. As a coincidence I was planning a week long off from work and was going to my native place. Before going I bought the same books which Avinash had read. And I read them while I was at my native place. My Grand-Father also read the books and liked it. After reading the books I realized that I did the right thing by deciding to go with Avinash to meet Dr. Prakash Amte. Just a week before leaving for Nagpur, I packed up my bags. While I was in office suddenly a thought dawned on me. I thought of taking my telescope along and show some amazing things in the night sky to my friends. I discussed this with Avinash and we thought we can arrange this program for the tribal school kids which come to Dr. Prakash Amte's school. And then we thought, why only school kids. Tribal Adults also wouldn't have much knowledge on this subject. So we decided that we can arrange this program for the entire tribal community if they are interested to enjoy the night sky. Assuming that they won't be having much knowledge about the heavenly objects they see every day in the night sky, and I won't be able to answer all their questions in such a little time, I decided to donate my favorite book on astronomy by Dr. Jayant Narlikar called "Akashashi Jadale Nate". This book was not available on online book stores. That's the reason I called up Shabd Book Gallery. I spoke to Mr. Sunil and he told me that they also don't have the book. I requested him if he can make this book available for me a.s.a.p as I was leaving for Nagpur in just three days. Surprisingly he made an quick arrangement and asked me to come and collect the books on the same evening. So after my office hours I went to the book store, and this brings us to the beginning of the story.
